This subscription database offers more than 150,000 electronic books. 

  • It requires a SUNY Adirondack username and password for off-campus access.
  • These books originally appeared in print format. The library purchases these books in electronic format.
  • Users may print up to a certain number of pages. Note that printing on campus is limited to 20 pages.
  • Students, faculty and staff may create accounts in Ebook Central to download books to a device, save them in an electronic bookshelf, or use the highlighter and other functions.
  • Area residents may visit the library to use the library's computers to access Ebook Central.

SUNY Adirondack New Media Lending Library

The New Media Lending Library is a program for students in New Media needing specialized equipment to complete coursework. This program is a completely free service offered by the college with the goal of breaking down barriers to student success.

To Qualify:
•A prospective student must be enrolled in a Media Arts or Radio/TV Broadcasting course.
•Have a valid student ID card
•A student Email Address
•A personal Banner ID Number

Hours:
Monday 10:30am — 12pm
Tuesday 12pm — 2pm
Wednesday 2pm — 4pm
Thursday 12pm — 2pm
Friday 2pm — 4pm
