This subscription database offers more than 170,000 electronic books.

  • It requires a SUNY Adirondack username and password for off-campus access.
  • These books originally appeared in print format. The library purchases these books in electronic format.
  • Users may print up to a certain number of pages. Note that printing on campus is limited to 20 pages at a time.
  • Students, faculty and staff may upload chapters to Google Drive, a network account, or a USB.
  • Students, faculty and staff can also create accounts in Ebook Central to download books to a device, save them in an electronic bookshelf, or use the highlighter and other functions.
  • Area residents may visit the library to use the library's computers to access Ebook Central.
