SUNY Adirondack Library uses The Library of Congress Call Number Classifications system to organize it's books. Most books on electrical technology will be located in the TK section in the library's circulating book collection.

ProQuest Ebook Central logo

This subscription database offers more than 170,000 electronic books.

  • It requires a SUNY Adirondack username and password for off-campus access.
  • These books originally appeared in print format. The library purchases these books in electronic format.
  • Users may print up to a certain number of pages. Note that printing on campus is limited to 20 pages at a time.
  • Students, faculty and staff may upload chapters to Google Drive, a network account, or a USB.
  • Students, faculty and staff can also create accounts in Ebook Central to download books to a device, save them in an electronic bookshelf, or use the highlighter and other functions.
  • Area residents may visit the library to use the library's computers to access Ebook Central.
