Public libraries have so much to offer!
Students who have a permanent or temporary residence (living in the residence halls, for instance) in, Warren, Washington, Saratoga or Hamilton counties can borrow materials from a Southern Adirondack Library System (SALS) library.
The SALS service area is light green. The Capital District Library Council (CDLC) encompasses some light green, brown, and the pink area.

Talk to a librarian to request it through interlibrary loan, or check into getting a library card at your local public library.
Ebooks and Audiobooks: Overdrive
Once you have your library card, you can borrow both physical AND electronic books and materials.
Overdrive is the service used by many local library systems to host their electronic media, and Libby is the app that allows Overdrive materials to be accessed via smartphone.
SALON is the Overdrive site for SALS holdings. If you have a card for Crandall Library, you can borrow ebooks and audiobooks from SALON.
If you have a borrower card from a library in Albany or Rensselaer Counties, you can borrow from the UHLS Overdrive site.
WorldCat is a world-wide catalog of books and other material owned by libraries around the world. See where an item you want is available, or to look for books on a topic. WorldCat notes if the SUNY Adirondack Library owns a book.
