Textbook Options: Saving Money

This page might help students save money on textbooks.

Saving Money on Textbooks

The SUNY Adirondack Library offers selected textbooks on reserve at the Circulation Desk on the main floor.

  • Only a small percent of courses have textbooks on reserve.
  • Textbooks for more heavily-enrolled courses are more likely to be on reserve.
  • Reserve textbooks must be used in the library.
  • Students may ask their professor to request that a course's textbooks be put on reserve. If the budget allows, the library may purchase a textbook for a specific course.
