  • If you are on the SUNY Adirondack campus, you may use the SUNY Adirondack Library’s computers to search article databases. You may print or e-mail citations or full-text articles at no charge.  You can also reach the SUNY Adirondack databases from home with your SUNY Adirondack username and password, listed on your MyPlattsburgh page.

Finding Books

Search for books using the book database at either the SUNY Adirondack Library or Feinberg Library. It’s probably easiest to check out books from SUNY Adirondack if you visit campus regularly.

To borrow a book at the SUNY Adirondack Library:

  • Bachelor’s program students: Use your Plattsburgh ID card, available from the college's Student Services office.
  • Master’s program students: show a photo ID at the Circulation Desk to get a community borrower card.

If you search Plattsburgh’s book database and find a book you’d like to borrow, you may request that book through Plattsburgh’s interlibrary loan service. See the Interlibrary Loan box above.
